Halle Bailey is soaking up the joy this Mother's Day — her first as a mom!

On Sunday, May 12, the singer and actress, 24, shared a sweet video compilation of her son, Halo, whom she quietly welcomed with boyfriend DDG last year.

The tribute begins with never-before-seen videos of Bailey at the hospital after giving birth to her baby boy, including clips of her and DDG, 26, holding the newborn.

Then, the Little Mermaid star included a glimpse into her life as a new mom, including several clips of her and Halo cuddling and sharing some smooches, plus one of the little one sleeping on her chest.

Though her joy is evident in the video, she cemented it in the caption, writing, “My first mother’s day ♥️ the greatest love i’ve ever known.”

Halo’s father, DDG, added to the Mother’s Day love in the comments, writing, “The best mom ever!”

Also on Mother’s Day, the Chloe x Halle singer revealed that the day before the holiday, she marked another milestone — and made her love for Halo even more permanent — by getting a tattoo in his honor.

"I got my first tattoo yesterday for mother's day,” the star wrote, “in honor of my baby halo.”

Bailey and DDG — who went Instagram-official with their relationship in March 2022 — have kept their life as new parents relatively private, but have shared glimpses.

In a YouTube video posted in January, the rapper shared details about his journey into fatherhood for the first time, calling Bailey a "great mom."

"I wouldn't chose no other person in the world to have a child with,” he said of the actress. “We learning. She's a great mom. Like it's crazy. She's amazing.”

Later in the video, the rapper also called Bailey a "professional mom," and added that the family of three is "doing great."

The couple also spoke about their life as new parents in February. "It's wonderful," Bailey told Entertainment Tonight at the time, adding, "I love our baby so much. We're so happy.”

Echoing the actress, DDG added, "It's amazing.”

Also in February, Bailey opened up about her son’s name, revealing to PEOPLE that it was actually his father’s idea.

“We just agreed, and we loved it,” she said. “I love the name Halo."

When asked whether there was any connection between her son’s name and her mentor Beyoncé’s song "Halo," Bailey laughed and said, “He for sure has a theme song.”
