Halftime Show TV Ratings Are Out: NFL Fans React
The Super Bowl halftime show ratings are out and they shattered last year’s halftime show.
Per Richard Deitsch of The Athletic, this year’s show averaged 103.4M viewers from 8:15-8:30 p.m. ET. The 2021 halftime show averaged 96.7M viewers from 8:30-8:45 p.m. ET.
NBC says the Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show averaged 103.4 million viewers from 8:15-8:30 p.m. ET, up over last year (96.7 million from 8:30-8:45 p.m. ET).

It’s not surprising that there would be more viewers for this show, considering that it had an All-Star caliber lineup.
Snoop Dogg performed with Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, 50 Cent, Eminem, and Mary J. Blige. It was considered by many as one of the best halftime shows in a long time.
The NFL world isn’t surprised by these numbers.
It was quite good. https://t.co/vbSG0nPcle

Whoever the NFL picks for next year’s show is going to have a hard time topping this one, especially with these ratings.
After the halftime show, the Rams went on to beat the Bengals 23-20 to capture their first Super Bowl in two decades. The Bengals still haven’t won one, even though they’ve played in three of them.
