The Dickinson star, who recently returned in the role of Gwen Stacy aka Spider-Gwen in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, said she's "beyond grateful" to see Renner doing well.

The Pitch Perfect star and Renner first shared the screen in the Disney+ Marvel series Hawkeye, in which Steinfeld plays aspiring superhero and skilled archer Kate Bishop, opposite Renner's titular Avenger.

Speaking of her stint in the MCU, Steinfeld addressed the possibility of playing Gwen Stacy in a live-action movie and whether or not Kate would be on board with it.

"I think that [Kate]'d only be jealous if she couldn't be friends with [Gwen]," she said, confirming she'd be on board with portraying the character beyond the animated saga.
