Gypsy Rose Blanchard reportedly plans to attend Bengals vs. Chiefs game

Gypsy Rose Blanchard, who was released from a Missouri prison on Thursday, could spend New Year's Eve cheering on the Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs.

Gypsy, who served 85% of a 10-year prison sentence for plotting to murder her abusive mother, plans to attend Sunday's Chiefs vs. Bengals game in hopes of meeting Taylor Swift, the Springfield News-Leader and USA TODAY reported. Swift is dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and has attended several of his games this season.

Sunday's game will be played at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. Kickoff is set for 4:25 p.m. ET and the game will be televised on CBS.

Gypsy was released from the Chillicothe Correctional Center in Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday. The now-32-year-old pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in 2016 after she and her then-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn plotted to kill her mother, Clauddine "Dee Dee" Blanchard.

Dee Dee forced Gypsy to undergo unnecessary medical treatments for years under the guise that she was severely ill. Gypsy's mother was thought to have suffered from factitious disorder imposed on another (FDIA), and their story inspired Hulu's "The Act."
