Gypsy Rose Blanchard Makes Bold Assumption About New Taylor Swift Lyrics

Gypsy Rose Blanchard, Taylor Swift

Gypsy Rose Blanchard has a theory about one specific song on Taylor Swift's new album The Tortured Poets Department.

The 32-year-old, whom was released from prison in December 2023 after serving seven years for her involvement in the murder of her mother Dee Dee Blanchard, believes that the pop star used her as inspiration for one of the tracks on the project.

According to TMZ, who allegedly received intel from sources close to Gypsy Rose, the Louisiana native is convinced that Swift's song "Fresh Out The Slammer" could be about her recently being let out of jail on parole.

Gypsy allegedly sees a lot of similarities between the tune's lyrics and her situation. The song in question is about a woman getting out of prison and running away with her lover, which actually aligns, as Gypsy moved in with her now estranged husband Ryan Anderson following her release.

Further, the internet personality also relates to the line "camera flashes, welcome bashes" due to the media's borderline obsession with her every move since she has reentered the free world. Not only has paparazzi been tracking her since late last year, but her family also threw her a welcome home bash—yet another coincidence, if the song is not, in fact, loosely based on Gypsy.

Meanwhile, fans on social media seemed to agree, with people chiming in on the banter saying things like, "fresh out the slammer is so gypsy rose coded #TTPD #TaylorSwift."

There has been no evidence or confirmation of such being true, though, and the two women have never met, even with the former inmate publicly declaring how big of a Swiftie she is.

As for what Gypsy is up to these days, she recently debuted a major aesthetic transformation, and the second installment of her Lifetime docuseries, Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up, debuts on June 3rd.
