I love exercising outside, but once there’s ice and snow on the ground, I head to the gym to run and walk on the treadmill instead. Now that I’m a few weeks into my wintertime routine, I’ve realized that I could really use a gym bag. As a fun surprise, I recently stumbled upon this Amazon storefront that’s filled with popular gym bags that start at just $19.

Admittedly, I don’t want to spend a ton of money on a new gym bag, because I’ll head back outside to my favorite trails in a few months. But I still want to find a chic bag that’s large enough to hold my essentials and also has the potential to double as a cute tote for upcoming beach, pool, and travel days. While I was perusing Amazon’s curated collection of bags, I found 10 great options that I know I can use now and later.

Best Amazon Gym Bag Deals

I already have a Bagsmart bag that I love, so the brand’s $21 foldable tote is high up on my list of favorites. I’m also intrigued by the shape of this Ceneda gym bag that has a water bottle slot and straps to easily carry a yoga mat . As a fan of neoprene bags, I’m thinking a lot about this tote, too—I can already see myself reaching for it for upcoming trips. I’m breaking down much more about the gym bags I’m eyeing, so make sure to keep reading below.

Bagsmart Foldable Tote Bag

After stellar reviews, I scooped up a Bagsmart toiletry bag and can confidently say I love it. The quality is excellent, the color is cute, and I feel like Bagsmart thinks of everything when designing its products. Needless to say, I think the brand’s foldable tote bag (15.3 by 6 by 12.5 inches) is one I would also quickly end up loving. It’s large enough to use as a small weekender but still suitable to use for day-to-day use. Made from polyester that can easily wipe clean, it has three exterior pockets—I especially like the front pocket with the cinched drawstring—that can hold a water bottle, umbrella, a few essentials, and more. I also really like that I could fold the bag up into a compact pouch whenever I’m not using it.

Ceneda Large Gym Bag

The Ceneda gym bag measures 18.1 by 6.3 by 27.5 inches, and it has it all. Not only is the exterior of the bag water resistant, but it also has a separate compartment for wet clothes (a key feature for swimmers) and a hidden one for shoes. Yoga enthusiasts can also use the bottom straps to tote a yoga mat, and the padded shoulder strap will make the bag comfortable to carry even when it’s stuffed with essentials. And with a water bottle slot on the outside, you’ll have quick access to hydrate. If I wasn’t already impressed with the bag itself, I can’t believe this gym bag is on sale for just $24.

Hyc00 Gym Bag

Amazon

With an impressive 24,600 perfect ratings and 2,400 five-star reviews and a Gym Tote Bags category top-seller, the Hyc00 gym bag is a strong contender.. Similar to other styles, this bag also has a water resistant exterior, but it sets itself apart by having the most storage, with six interior and two exterior compartments. The other important highlight about the tote is its size; it measures 10.6 by 21.7 by 7.09 inches, which makes it large enough to use as a weekender, according to the brand and multiple shoppers. “This is my go-to gym bag,” wrote one five-star reviewer who can fit their “crossfit shoes, running shoes, hand towel, gym clothes, sun screen, and gym clothes” inside. Another shopper highlighted that the bag “fits underneath the seat on American Airlines flights” as a “personal item” just in case you want to use it for travel, too.

Qogir Neoprene Tote

I love neoprene because it’s both chic and durable, and this tote looks like it checks both boxes. Some of the colorways feature a bold three-stripe design that I think is so fun and preppy. Measuring at 22 by 10 by 12.5 inches, this tote would be perfect for beach towels by the water and my shoes after the gym, but it also comes with a zippered pouch that I would use to store my keys and my AirPods case. I also appreciate that it has a removable board at the bottom of the bag to help it to keep its shape. One shopper noted that the bag’s material is “durable” and “easy to wash,” and they also pointed out that it “folds up nicely for transporting in luggage.” Another shopper dubbed their tote a “Mary Poppins bag,” because “it has so many compartments that everything has a place”—enough to fit three peoples’ worth of stuff. Shop it in a whopping 30 colors and patterns.

Adidas VFA 4 Backpack

I’m a backpack fan through and through, and I’ve always had great luck with Adidas products. So, the VFA 4 backpack is absolutely on my short list. It measures 6 by 11 by 16.5 inches—large enough to fit a laptop—and has tons of pockets to help with organization. Both of the side pockets can hold 32-ounce water bottles, and I’ll never say no to padded shoulder straps. If you’re looking for a bag that will allow you to stay hands-free, this is it, especially while it’s on sale for $36.

Whether you’re like me and only visit the gym for a season or enjoy going all year long, a gym bag can make such a difference when you’re trying to keep all of your essentials together. Pick up an easy-to-carry tote bag, a bag big enough to act as a weekender, or a handy backpack while Amazon has tons of options on sale. If you’re still shopping, keep scrolling below for even more bags that caught my eye.
