Gunman’s grandmother among wounded still hospitalized after Robb Elementary School shooting

Many of those wounded in the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School remain hospitalized, including the grandmother of alleged gunman Salvador Ramos.

Police said the 18-year-old suspect on Tuesday barricaded himself in a classroom at the school, and then opened fire, fatally striking 19 students and two teachers. Before unleashing violence inside Robb Elementary, Ramos allegedly shot his grandmother inside her Uvalde home, where he also lived.

The 66-year-old was rushed to University Health in San Antonio, where she remained in serious condition on Friday, according to CNN.
