Guardians of Freedom Air Show flies high in Wichita Falls

Cloudy skies made way for a sunny afternoon on Sunday as the Guardians of Freedom Air Show got underway at Sheppard Air Force Base.

It's been five years since the base hosted its last air show, and day two of the event wrapped up on Sunday.

This year's show consisted of numerous events, such as activities for kids, food, drinks, aircraft on display and several air acts that all lead up to the finale featuring the Air Force Thunderbirds.

The air acts were comprised of The Third Strike Wingwalkers, the B-25 Devil Dog, the WWII Airborne Demo, the Army Golden Knights and many more.

The Thunderbirds performed several routines, including dedications to current and past service members and their families.
