How to get your groceries delivered within hours, thanks to Walmart

Grocery shopping isn’t everyone’s favorite activity. After a long day of work, school, running errands and more, the last thing you probably want to do is wait in line at the grocery store. However, you can skip the store all together and get Walmart to deliver your groceries ASAP.

Here’s how it works: First, sign into your Walmart account or create a free account, if you don’t have one. Next, in the top left corner of Walmart’s website, click on the Pickup & Delivery option. Once you’re on the page, insert your address and choose delivery. Then, reserve a delivery time.

You can choose to have your groceries delivered on the same day as you place your order, or choose another day and time that’s more convenient for you. Keep in mind, you don’t even have to be home to receive your order — you can provide instructions for where your delivery person should leave your goods if you’re not.

If there aren’t any delivery times available that work for you, Walmart also has free curbside pickup. It’s another great option for getting your groceries fast, especially if you’re already driving by.

Once you’ve chosen your delivery or pickup preference, shop for your groceries and any other goods, like kitchen gadgets, holiday gifts and more. Then checkout, sit back and wait.

Getting your groceries online can save you time and money. For one, you don’t have to fight the crowds at the store, but it’s easier to stick to a budget and hold yourself back from adding unnecessary treats to your cart when you can see the final price before checking out.

If you’re a Yahoo email user, grocery shopping is even easier! Yahoo email users can browse and buy groceries without even leaving their inbox. When signed into Yahoo Mail, you’ll see a Walmart banner at the top of your inbox — click it and search for anything you need. You’ll be able to check out right there from your inbox. Yahoo email users also receive personalized grocery suggestions based on their profiles.
