One way or another, a Memphis Grizzlies streak will come to an end Friday night against the San Antonio Spurs. Memphis (23-47) has lost four straight, but has a 12-game winning streak against the Spurs.

If that is to continue, they will need some of their usual role players to have bigger nights. Desmond Bane (back) and Vince Williams Jr. (left patellar tendinitis) are doubtful to play. Eight other Grizzlies are listed as out. Scotty Pippen Jr., John Konchar and Jake LaRavia are all questionable.

This is the third meeting of the season. The Grizzlies will get another look at NBA Rookie of the Year favorite Victor Wembanyama. The 7-foot-4 center is averaging 20.7 points, 10.4 rebounds, 3.5 blocks and 3.5 assists.
