Grey's Anatomy boss teases season 20 finale
Grey's Anatomy showrunner Meg Marinis has teased the upcoming season 20 finale.
Season 20 was cut down in length due to last year's concurrent WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, meaning that the tenth episode of the season is its last.
Speaking at SeriesFest in Colorado, Marinis said (via Deadline): "Heading towards the end of the season, because it's a shorter season of 10 episodes because of the strikes, we really pay off what we started in episode one at the end of the season.
"Interns being in trouble, Meredith doing this secret research, things come to a head."

Meanwhile, Dr. Jo Wilson actor Camilla Luddington echoed the boss' words, confirming it'll be an "edge of your seat" affair with plenty of "cliffhangers", while Dr. Owen Hunt himself Kevin McKidd teased some on-screen 'fieriness'.
In recent weeks, Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) has been warned off her unconventional Alzheimer's research, but should she go down, she'll potentially rope in her fellow secret-keepers Dr. Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone) and Dr. Teddy Altman (Kim Raver).

This comes after Marinis openly discussed the future of Grey's Anatomy while in conversation with Deadline.
"I've not been informed that this is the last season, so I'm going to keep going and telling stories as long as they let me. We still have stories to tell," she said.
"We receive a tremendous amount of support from the studio and the network and from Shondaland. So I'm going to keep going until they tell me to put that pen down."
Grey's Anatomy season 20 and Station 19's final season are airing on ABC in the US. Both shows stream on Disney+ in the UK.
