Greg Cote Show podcast: Greg channels Casey Kasem, counts down his 25 all-time favorite songs!

The latest episode of The Greg Cote Show podcast, out now, is our 50th of this year. Is it worthy of the golden numeral? Well, it does call to mind gold records, at least. It is the most unusual episode we’ve ever done as Greg (that’s me!) shares his Top 25 songs of all time, and why they are so special to him.

The two enduring passions of my life have been sports and music. But not necessarily in that order. From an early age and undiminished today, I have devoured music -- from transistor and car radios to satellite, and from vinyl on record players to eight-track tapes to cassettes to CDs to Spotify.

I channel Casey Kasem in this episode as I count down my all-time favorites from 25 to 1. The songs cover about a 45-year span across genres including pop/rock, soul, country and reggae. I wonder how many you will know, and how many might be among your own favorites.

Warning: Chris and Yeti make fun of me because several of the songs are obscure ... at least to them. Het, get your own list. It’s my doggone podcast!
