Green Bay-area tennis coach arrested on suspicion of child enticement, Brown County Sheriff's Office says

A 40-year-old Green Bay tennis coach was arrested Thursday on suspicion of child enticement, according to the Brown County Sheriff's Office.

Joshua Denault of Green Bay was charged Friday with four felonies: capture an intimate representation, child enticement, causing mental harm to a child and child sexual exploitation.

Denault was an employee at Western Racquet & Fitness Club, 2500 S. Ashland Ave., Ashwaubenon. He was fired after a sheriff's office investigator informed the club on May 14 of a reported incident that took place the previous week, according the Western Racquet & Fitness Club.

The Brown County Sheriff's Office on Friday issued a statement about "potentially inappropriate conduct by an area tennis coach," saying there is an ongoing investigation "involving a growing number of young victims."

Denault was scheduled for an initial appearance Friday in Brown County Circuit Court.

The sheriff's office requests anyone with information related to the case to contact Sgt. Matthew Wilson at 920-448-6192 or matthew.wilson@browncountywi.gov.
