Celebrate Pets
Display a photo of your pet on the Children’s Department bulletin board. Don’t have a pet? Draw a picture of your dream pet to share. You can drop off a photo or email a digital file to santhony@granvillelibrary.org. For kids of all ages.

Collecting Kindness: Licking County Humane Society Collection Drive
From Nov. 1 to Dec. 30, patrons can drop off new items for the Licking County Humane Society near the indoor library Book Drop or in the Children's Department. LCHS Wishlist items can be found at https://lchspets.org/donate/.

Stuffed Animal Adoption Event Preparation with Thurber House
Young creative writers, the library needs you! The library's stuffed animal shelter is full. By writing persuasive descriptions highlighting the unique personality traits and needs of these loving pets, you can help connect them with suitable forever homes. The pet descriptions created during this program will be displayed during the Adopt-a-Stuffed-Pet Event on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 12:30-2:30 p.m. This program is presented by Thurber House and generously sponsored by the Susan Cramer Fund. For 4-6 graders.

Write Your Own D&D Campaign with Thurber House
Calling all clerics, wizards, and more! If you've ever wanted to start your own Dungeons & Dragons campaign or work on a fantastical story arc, come join the library. You'll walk away a Dungeon Master ready to lead your friends through adventures no matter what they roll. For 7-12 graders.

Overlooked Books Book Club
The book club is reading "Horse" by Geraldine Brooks this month. The story unfolds against the backdrop of the beginnings of the Civil War. A young bay foal is born in Kentucky and will go on to be a racehorse of renown thanks to the attention and kindness of his enslaved groom. A painter grows in fame due to his portraits of the horse.
