Granite Chin Promotions announces pro boxing card coming to Quincy this weekend

Professional boxing is once again coming to Quincy this weekend.

On Saturday, Granite Chin Promotions will host its "Rumble at the Rink" card at Quincy Youth Arena. The action will be streamed live on bxngtv.com, and benefit Quincy Youth Hockey. Doors open at 6 p.m. The first bout is staged for 7 p.m.

Super middleweight fighters Lynn’s James “Pitbull” Perkins (13-1-1, 9 KOs), Swansea’s Anthony “The Gentle Savage” Andreozzi (5-3, 2 KOs), Dorchester’s Bernard Joseph (7-1-1, 5 KOs) and Ryan Clark (4-5, 2 KOs), of Maine, will be matched in a blind draw at weigh-in to compete in a three-round tournament. The two preliminary winners advance to a five-round main event to determine a champion.

Then, in the six-round co-featured event, Thomas “The Kid” O’Toole (9-0, 6 KOs) will take on Russell Kimber (2-1, 1 KO), of Peabody for the vacant Massachusetts Light Heavyweight Championship. O’Toole, a 2019 Irish National Champion, is fighting out of Braintree by way of Galway, Ireland.

Scituate's Kevin “Big Gulp” Nagle (7-0, 7 KOs) will oppose Marcelo “Queixada” Leonardo Da Silva (23-6, 18 KOs), of Brazil.

Woburn's Julien “Black Dragon” Baptiste (6-4, 3 KOs), the reigning United States Boxing Federation (USBF) Middleweight Champion, will face New Hampshire challenger Ricky Ford (5-1-2, 3 KOs) in a six-round bout.

Marshfield's Joe Bush, a 2023 New England Golden Gloves Tournament champ, faces North Carolina’s Tracey Coppedge (0-2) in a four-round clash.

Medford junior middleweight “Iron” Greg Bono (3-1-1, 2 KOs) will oppose Tymar Miles (0-1) in a four-rounder.

Dorchester's Jonathan de Pina (13-2, 6 KOs) will take the ring against against veteran Tyrone “Hands of Stone” Luckey (16-23-4, 12 KOs) in a six-round match.

Canadian super lightweight Thomas Blumenfeld, a 2019 Canadian National Champion, meets pro-debuting Igor Santos in a four-rounder.
