Grammy award-winning country music star Miranda Lambert will perform live July 26 at Trustmark Park in Pearl, organizers announced Monday.

This will be Lambert's first-ever performance at Trustmark Park, organizers said.

This performance is part of the "Music on the Diamond" concert series from Diamond Baseball Holdings, owner of the Mississippi Braves. The concert will feature different artists performing against the backdrop of iconic Minor league ballparks, such as Trustmark Park, throughout the nation, according to the owner of the Mississippi Braves.

"It's quite a privilege to have someone of her caliber coming to Trustmark Park," said Pete Laven, Mississippi Braves vice president and general manager in an interview with the Clarion Ledger newspaper. "It has always been our goal to take advantage of our great venue with the combination of the efforts of Diamond Baseball Holdings, and it is going to be a real highlight of our farewell season and we're very happy to be able to provide that for not only our fans but music lovers all over the region."
