Goyal Industries president named to Ohio Manufacturers' Association board

Jay Goyal, president of Goyal Industries in Mansfield, has joined the Ohio Manufacturers' Association Board of Directors.

"Jay's unique background as both a manufacturer and former state (representative) is a strong addition to OMA's board," OMA President Ryan Augsburger said. "We are thrilled to have his expertise and guidance in pursuing Ohio's manufacturing competitiveness."

Goyal represented the 73rd District in the Ohio House of Representatives from 2007 to 2013. He earned his bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Northwestern University. Goyal also graduated from the joint MPP and MBA program between the Harvard Kennedy School and Harvard Business School in May 2015.

Goyal Industries Inc. was founded in 1988 to manufacture intricate, close-tolerance fabrications for various industries.
