You gotta see it: First look at Texas Rangers’ World Series rings

The 2023 World Series celebration hasn’t quite finished in Arlington as the Texas Rangers presented their World Series championship rings to their players and coaching staff on Saturday prior to their game against the Chicago Cubs.

Jason Arasheben, CEO of Jason of Beverly Hills, a diamond dealer stationed in California, designed the rings in conjunction with the Rangers.

On Saturday afternoon, Arasheben and said the Rangers ring was one of the most special he’s ever created.

“There was a lot of pressure when designing this ring, not just because it was a first for the Rangers, but because it is also our very first World Series ring. With this delivery Jason of Beverly Hills will have designed championship rings for the “Big Four” major professional sports leagues in North America. We’re honored the Rangers partnered with us for this moment and I’m proud of my team for hitting it out of the park with the design and setting a new standard for what rings should be for a World Series champion,” said Arasheben.

Chuck Morgan, the Rangers’ Executive Vice President of Ballpark Entertainment, Promotions, and Production, received the first 2023 World Series Championship ring at the unveiling. Morgan is a member of the Texas Rangers Hall of Fame and has been with the franchise for 41 years.

“I think about all the people that I’ve worked with, all the players that I’ve known and had the chance to introduce. There are no words that I can describe to get the first one, there are so many other people who were probably more worthy than me, but it’s a huge, huge honor,” said Morgan.

The Rangers’ players and staff received first looks at the ring during a team dinner on Friday night.

The rings are valued at $75,000 each. Each one has 103 blue sapphires on the top for the Rangers’ season win total, while the 23 red rubies on the ring represent the year the Rangers won the World Series.

The ring has a reversible top and on the alternate top of the ring, the 49 points of rubies represent the number of players who held an active spot on the team.

The ring weighs 150 grams, about the weight of an average baseball

Underneath the removable top, sits 11-0 for team’s 2023 postseason road record and also the slogan “ROAD dominance with each letter of the word road being the logo of a team defeated by the Rangers in the postseason, Tampa Bay Rays, Baltimore Orioles, Houston Astros and Arizona Diamondbacks. Inside the ring sits a leather from baseballs taken from the team’s 2023 World Series win.

11 stones were placed on the face for the number of postseason wins on the road and 52 points of diamonds make up the word champion for the 52-year history of the Rangers.

The ring also features players’ signatures and the team’s clubhouse motto “As one,” on the inside of the ring.

Sixteen emerald cut diamonds recognize the number of consecutive postseason games the Rangers hit a home run in and the 90 stones circling the side represent the regular-season win total.

The three diamonds on the player side represent the organization’s three pillars of baseball: “Compete with passion, be a good teammate, and dominate the fundamentals.”
