The Houston Texans are offering fans with Deshaun Watson jerseys the chance to trade them in for a new jersey of another player.

But fans are still going to have to fork over some cash. After trading in the Watson jersey you’ll get 44% off your next one.

The Texans announced the news on Monday, Oct. 10, in the ongoing wake of the settlement of the Watson disciplinary matter. Watson, now with the Cleveland Browns, was accused by more than two dozen women of sexual misconduct during massage sessions.

He did not play with the Texans last year and was traded to the Browns in March.

During the team’s Bye Week, fans can exchange the jersey of a player from a list of former players from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. CT at the Team Shop at NRG Stadium, the news release says.

Eligible jerseys are from about 60 players “acquired during the 2017- 2021 seasons” who are no longer with the team, including Watson, the Clemson standout, who was drafted by the Texans in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. His jersey is marked down from $149.99 to $47.99, according to the gift shop’s website.

Some other players include:

  • Tyrann Mathieu

  • Zach Cunningham

  • Julien Davenport

  • Justin Reid

  • Randall Cobb

  • Michael Thomas

  • Mark Ingram II

Watson, who is currently serving an 11-game suspension, returned to the Browns’ training facility on Monday, ESPN reported.
