The golf world is excited by the latest developments in Tiger Woods‘ rehabilitation process.

Woods, a 15-time major champion winner, was seriously injured in a car accident in late February. He suffered multiple serious leg injuries and underwent emergency surgeries.

The legendary golfer has since been rehabbing his way back.

“This has been an entirely different animal,” Woods said of his rehab process earlier this year, via Golf Digest. “I understand more of the rehab processes because of my past injuries, but this was more painful than anything I have ever experienced.”

Thankfully, Woods appears to be taking major steps – figuratively and literally – in his rehab process.

TMZ Sports captured photos of Woods putting some weight on his legs during a trip to California.

Golf fans are thrilled by the sight.

“This is great to see!!” one fan tweeted.

“Don’t be surprised if Tiger plays golf in 2022. It may be a charity event or golfing with his son or friends but he will play. If it was the left leg that was badly damaged probably would be a different story. The left leg takes most of the abuse for a right handed golfer,” another fan added.

“Tiger is a special person, a one of a kind golfer. He’ll be back an win again,” one fan wrote.

Woods hasn’t said much about his rehab process, though he shared an encouraging photo back in April.

Hopefully we’ll see Tiger back on the course in some fashion moving forward. He’s certainly taken some big steps with his rehab process.
