Your dog might be your bestie, but it's really cute when they make friends of their own. Sometimes they even have a little boyfriend or girlfriend — how cute! On TikTok, one Golden Retriever is sharing the big night he and his Golden girlfriend had planned — if only his mom would stop cramping his style.

Reedy was going to have his girlfriend Banana over for a sleepover.

Reedy narrated the bedtime routine he and Banana engaged in on their big overnight playdate. The two went upstairs and the Golden Retriever made sure to bring his special stuffy — his lamb toy.

"My mom was following us but she was walking kind of slow," the voiceover in the clip stated. Ugh, come on mom. Keep up! Thankfully both dogs made sure that mom followed them into the room okay. The two Goldens ended up snuggling on the bed, and before he knew it Banana was trying to give her beau a sweet little kiss.

Not in front of Mom, Banana! Jeez!

These two are clearly obsessed with each other and people in the comments section were so into their relationship. "I don’t think I’ve ever seen a true dog couple until these two," wrote one person. "No pawDA," someone else joked. "Awww best dog couple," a third commenter praised.

Can Dogs Find Love?

It shouldn't be any surprise that dogs can fall in love with each other. It doesn't look exactly like human love — no candlelit dinners or love letters. But dogs' brains release oxytocin, aka the "love hormone" when they interact with other dogs. A 2014 study found that the levels of oxytocin didn't rise when dogs initiated these interactions, however. Only when another dog reciprocated. Meaning that your dogs feel the love when they're loved back.

Dogs have their own signs that they're digging another pup. They might wag their tail really fast when that dog is around. And they'll definitely initiate playtime every time the other dog is near. Similar to humans, dogs love physical affection. So if you catch the dogs cuddling up next to each other you can guarantee they're feeling the love. Another big sign that your dog has a BF or GF? Quality time. Dogs that love each other will want to spend time together — even if it's just hanging around the house. Which is why sleepovers like this one mean the world to them. It gives them tons of time to hangout with their special friend.
