Golden Retriever Gives Mom the Cutest Side-Eye for Interrupting His Movie

"Shhhhh! No talking!" Or, that's what we imagine one dog was thinking after his owner rudely interrupted him while he was watching a movie.

The dog mom shared a video of her dog looking hilariously annoyed while watching TV recently.

Who could blame him? Don't we all like a little peace and quiet when it comes to TV time? As the video from @retrievernamedgus shows, the 2-year-old Golden Retriever was resting on the bed watching Air Buddies, when his mama tried to talk to him.

"You watching it, buddy?" she said with a laugh. But it was no laughing matter to Gus the Golden. He gave his mama some serious side-eye, as if to say, "Do you mind? It's getting to the good part!"

Welp, lesson learned. Something tells us that mom will never try striking up a conversation when Gus is watching something ever again.

Gus had people in the comments section rolling. And unfortunately for his owner, they sort of saw where he was coming from. "Um, I'm having a moment if you don't mind," joked one commenter. "He's like mom your disturbing me," someone else chimed in. "Bombastic side eye, criminal offensive side eye," teased someone else. "I love the side eye! Best ever lol," chimed in one woman.

Best Movies to Watch With Your Dog

Clearly Gus likes a little me time. But we're sure there are some nights where he'd like nothing more than to settle on the couch and snuggle up with his mama. If you're looking for movies that you and your own dog can watch together, here are some that are bound to hold their attention.

Nineties babies are sure to appreciate our first pick — Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey. The Disney flick features an American Bulldog, Golden Retriever, and cat trying to find their way home after being dropped off at their owner's friend's house. It's a comedy, so be prepared for lots of laughs.

If you want something with more meaning, A Dog's Purpose will have you deep in your feels. The 2017 movie follows a dog as it reincarnates several times trying to figure out the meaning of life. The movie even has a sequel — A Dog's Journey.

Air Bud is a classic dog movie. In fact the movie that Gus was watching was Air Buddies, one of the many Air Bud sequels. This would be a perfect movie if you're looking for something the whole family could enjoy.

Just don't interrupt your dog if they're watching a movie alone. Or else you'll end up like Gus' mama.
