Before Golden Globes, Taylor Swift dines with posse of Chiefs wives in Beverly Hills

Taylor Swift made her first LA outing of 2024 with her new NFL WAG squad — Brittany Mahomes and Lyndsay Bell.

The three women were photographed together leaving Wolfgang Puck’s famous Spago restaurant in Beverly Hills Saturday night. TMZ reported the trio entered from the back alley — the low-key VIP entrance — after leaving Swift’s estate in Beverly Hills.

Swift and Mahomes were dressed alike in all-black miniskirts with tall boots. Bell, who is pregnant, wore all white with a leather jacket draped over her shoulders.

They arrived at 7:30 p.m. and left at 11, TMZ reported.

The trio has been photographed often over the last few months since Swift began dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Swift is now a bona fide member of the Wives and Girlfriends (WAGs) sorority, arguably the most famous.

Mahomes, co-owner of the Kansas City Current soccer team, is married to Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Bell is the wife of another tight end, Blake Bell.

The three women have watched several home and away Chiefs games together.

And when the team traveled to Germany in November to play the Miami Dolphins, they all stayed behind in New York where they and former Chiefs wife Paige Buechele partied on a Saturday night. The next morning they watched the game at Swift’s Manhattan home.

Swift introduced her new NFL friends to her Hollywood posse that weekend — Selena Gomez, actress Sophie Turner, models Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevingne — as the women dined at one of Swift’s favorite restaurants, Bond St. Sushi.

Swift has also partied with Mahomes and other Chiefs wives and girlfriends at several Kansas City area restaurants in recent months, beginning with her first known outing with the group back in September at Prime Social, a rooftop cocktail lounge near the Country Club Plaza.

Most recently she rang in the new year with Kelce, Brittany and Patrick Mahomes and other members of the Chiefs family at The American Restaurant in Crown Center. The night before, she enjoyed a ladies’ night dinner at Rye KC restaurant in Leawood with Brittany and several other Chiefs WAGs.

Happenstance put Swift and her new NFL family in Los Angeles at the same time this weekend, where the Chiefs played their last regular season game against the Los Angeles Chargers Sunday afternoon while she prepared to attend the Golden Globes.

Mahomes posted to Instagram a view of the field from her suite box early in the game.

Over the years, Swift has been nominated for five Golden Globes but has never won. Some publications have predicted she will take home her first on Sunday with her concert film “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,” nominated in a new category, Cinematic and Box Office Achievement. (“Barbie” ended up winning that one.)

And of course, her fans couldn’t wait to see what she wears on the red carpet.

Variety and “Entertainment Tonight” have teamed up to produce the official red carpet coverage. The pre-ceremony show was set to begin at 5:30 p.m. CT on Variety’s digital and social platforms, ETOnline.com and the Golden Globe Awards website, GoldenGlobes.com.

WWD (Women’s Wear Daily) was also going real-time digital, for the first time, with its red carpet coverage. The “bible of fashion” was scheduled to be live on the red carpet beginning at 4:30 p.m. CT Sunday on wwd.com/golden-globes.

The arrivals are also be shown on the digital platforms of 20 other publications owned by Penske Media Corp., Variety’s parent company and co-owner of the Globes.

The Golden Globes air at 7 p.m. on CBS and stream on Paramount Plus. (Only certain users can watch, however. Find out the details on Paramountplus.com.)
