Going to a Thunder playoff game? Here's where you can find something to eat near the game

The Oklahoma City Thunder are the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference playoffs and you may have tickets to an upcoming game.

Now your family — or friends, or date — have left it up to you to decide what to eat. You have some options depending on the day of your game, your party size and what you're in the mood for.

Also, you can choose to eat at the game because Paycom Center has a number of options available onsite.

Here's a guide to some of what you'll find at the arena on game day, along with several area restaurant options for families, couples and more.

What food options are at the Paycom Center?

This season, the Paycom Center added new food vendors and menu options to their list, including Empire Slice House, located at Section 115 in the arena.

In addition to Empire, Paycom has Cupbop, Korean barbecue in a cup, which can be found at sections 102 and 222, and Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, located at Section 107.

Other food options guests can look for onsite from Paycom's food operator Levy Restaurants include:

  • Smoked Green Chile Pork Mac and Cheese: Michelob Ultra Club, Section 116.

  • MIO Dog (Black pepper sausage, pulled pork, tobacco onions, Seikel's mustard, La Baguette bun): MIO Cart, Section 113.

  • The Cheeta-Elote Dog (Footlong corndog rolled in Cheetos): Baseline, Section 118.

  • PB&J Sandwich (Pulled pork, brisket and jalapeno sausage topped with slaw): Blue Pit BBQ, Section 225.

  • Elote dip with house-made tortilla chips and pretzels: Jack Daniel's Old #7, Section 116.

  • Cuban grilled cheese: Full Court Press, Section 120.

  • Off The Block baked potato (Barbecue-stuffed baked potato): Chop-n-Block, Section 317.

  • The Big 3 (Rumble popcorn chicken, loaded nachos, black pepper sausage): Baseline, Schwab's and Loud City Grille, multiple locations.

1. Spark at Scissortail Park, 300 Oklahoma City Blvd.

Located less than a block from the Paycom Center, just diagonally across Oklahoma City Boulevard at Scissortail Park, is Spark, a great family-friendly option for burgers, fries, corndogs, fried chicken sandwiches, delicious custard desserts and more.

2. Rendezvous Pizza, 27 E Sheridan Ave.

From Detroit to New York style and now Chicago Tavern style thin crust pizza to wings, salads and more, Rendezvous Pizza in Bricktown is a great place for the whole family to grab a bite ahead of a game. The restaurant even has a wide range of gluten free menu options.

3. Mahogany Prime Steakhouse, 145 W Sheridan Ave.

A great date night option just a block from the arena, Mahogany offers all that you'd expect from a steakhouse along with a selection of non-steak choices. Whether a ribeye, seabass or something else entirely, you're likely to find something you can enjoy on the menu at Mahogany.

4. The Jones Assembly, 901 W Sheridan Ave.

A slightly more elevated but still family-friendly, group or date night appropriate pre-game dining option is The Jones Assembly. Enjoy the patio or reserve seating in the dining room and choose from menu items ranging from one-of-a-kind pizzas to stellar seafood dishes, and playful takes on beloved classics.

5. FLINT Kitchen & Bar

Just a block from the Paycom Center, you'll find FLINT Kitchen & Bar inside the Colcord Hotel. American classics like chicken fried steak and bacon wrapped meatloaf are joined by southern and coastal staples like shrimp and grits and crab cakes on the menu to offer plenty of variety.

Steamed bao, bowls and banh mi fill the menu at this delicious fast casual option less than two blocks from Paycom Center.

7. Mary Eddy's at The Fordson Hotel, 900 W Main Street

Located about a mile from Paycom Center, Mary Eddy's is a great option for couple attending a Thunder playoff game. Make it a full night and stay The Fordson Hotel and you can take advantage of the onsite shuttle service offered to hotel guests.

8. Mickey Mantle's Steakhouse, #7 Mickey Mantle Drive

Make reservations and dine at Bricktown's Mickey Mantle's Steakhouse and then hop on one of the restaurant's complimentary shuttles to the Paycom Center, which begin running about two hours before tip-off.
