GMB's Kate Garraway responds to Ben Shephard moving to This Morning
Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway has responded to co-star Ben Shephard's move to This Morning.
Ben and Cat Deeley were announced as the ITV show's new main presenters on Friday (February 16), following Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby's departures.
Kate has since taken to Instagram to share her excitement at her friend's new gig.
"Massive congrats to @benshephardofficial on the @itv @thismorning gig," she wrote, alongside a snap of the pair on the GMB sofa.

"You'll be SOOOOO missed by EVERYONE @gmb viewers and the team alike & ofcourse especially me. BUT after 24 years hard labour by my side no one will begrudge you time off for good behaviour!!!"
She continued: "Good luck swapping early starts for (abit) of a lie in and a Kate for a Cat! @catdeeley can't wait to see you — you'll have a ball."
Ben and Cat will be This Morning's regular presenters of the Monday-Thursday shows from March, with Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary continuing to host on Fridays.
Upon the announcement, Ben said: "This really feels like a very special moment for Cat and I to be part of the next chapter of This Morning."

He continued: "It's an honour to be trusted with the reins, join Alison and Dermot and all the team that work on and off screen and do such a great job."
Cat added: "This Morning is a national institution. Whenever it's on, it's like having your friends over — funny, smart, silly, heartfelt, informative and joyful — like all the greatest friendships!
"This Morning is and always will be the viewers' show. Ben and I both know how much people love it, and with the help of an amazing team of people, we're going to do our best to take care of it."
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1 & ITVX. Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
