'GMA's Lara Spencer Suffers Wardrobe Malfunction On-Air—And Recovers Like a Pro

Lara Spencer

Lara Spencer proved to be a consummate professional on Good Morning America this week, even after suffering a minor wardrobe malfunction.

The TV presenter and co-anchor on the popular ABC morning show was taking part in a segment for National Pumpkin Day on Thursday, Oct. 26, when one of her buttons came loose and caused her flannel blouse to pop open.

As seen in a video of the moment captured by Hello!, Spencer and co-anchor Michael Strahan were greeting their guest, Barbara "Babs" Costello, in front of a giant pumpkin carving station when Spencer looked down at realized her button had come undone.

The wardrobe snafu—which happened live on-air—didn't even seem to faze Spencer, 54, who clearly knows exactly how to handle these situations.

Without making a big fuzz, Spencer just placed her cue cards on the table and carried on with the presentation while quickly grabbing a hold of her shirt and buttoning it back up.

Luckily, everything seemed to turn out just fine with the episode, as Spencer and Strahan went on to have a successful segment with Babs, who shared her tips on making both sweet and savory pumpkin seeds.

Spencer even took to Instagram after the episode to look back on the fun segment with Babs, who was all smiles as she posed in between the two GMA stars.

"Who better to celebrate National Pumpkin Day with? BABS!!!!" Spencer exclaimed in the post, adding, "We love you @brunchwithbabs ❤️🎃."

Babs, a lifestyle guru and social media personality, replied in the comments, telling Spencer, "I had such a blast as always !!!"
