‘Glee’ star Lea Michele expecting first child with husband Zandy Reich: report

“Glee” star Lea Michele is heading in a new direction – toward motherhood.

The Broadway-bred actress who sang in the fictional New Directions glee club on the hit Fox series is expecting her first child with husband Zandy Reich, People.com reported Monday.

“They’ve always wanted to be parents,” a source told the magazine.

Michele, 33, and Reich, 37, dated for about two years before they tied the knot in March 2019 in Napa, California.

They were friends years before they became romantically involved, People previously reported.

“They were introduced by Lea’s best friend, Stephanie Levinson. Zandy is best friends with Stephanie’s husband, so they all know and love each other,” a friend told the magazine.

“He’s a very business-minded guy and super smart. He started working for Theory and now he’s president of AYR. Lea’s always been a big fan of the clothing company and has worn their clothes to events,” the friend said in 2018.

“Zandy is perfect for her. She knew it was right early on in their relationship,” another friend told the magazine. “She’s been through so much, everyone close to her is just thrilled that she’s found happiness.”

Michele previously dated her Glee co-star Corey Monteith, who tragically died in 2013, during “Glee’s” critically acclaimed seven-year run.

A former child star on Broadway, Michele recently starred in the ABC TV movie “Same Time, Next Christmas.”
