Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire sets unwanted record with low Rotten Tomatoes rating
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire has set an unwanted record for the franchise on Rotten Tomatoes.
The latest entry in the series follows on from 2021's Ghostbusters: Afterlife, as the Spengler family team-up with the original Ghostbusters crew to face a new threat in New York City.
However, it seems the movie hasn't been the biggest hit with critics, with the film currently standing at 44% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes – making it the lowest entry in the franchise, behind 1989's Ghostbusters II (55%).

While there has been some praise for the movie's fun, other critics were less complimentary – some even suggesting it may be time to rest the franchise.
