Genie Bouchard’s Favorite Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Photos

Canadian tennis star Genie Bouchard is one of several notable athletes to have posed in the iconic Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.

The 2021 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue hit newsstands last month. The 2021 issue features three historic covers, including one with tennis star Naomi Osaka.

Bouchard, 27, posed for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue back in 2017 and 2018.

The tennis star, who’s developed a massive following on social media, has shared some of her favorite photos from the magazine.

Bouchard spoke to SI.com about what it’s like to pose for the magazine.

“At the beginning of the shoot, it’s always hard — wearing almost nothing definitely makes you feel self-conscious. But the photographer was amazing; he was so nice and supportive — he made me feel comfortable right away.”

“I realized I was there for a reason, and this gave me the confidence to be free and also have fun during the shoot!” Bouchard told SI.com.

Bouchard is one of several notable athletes to pose for the magazine over the years.
