Gastonia, Shelby top performers: Gaston Christian's Meridian Leffew hits two HRs in win

J.T. Roche, East Lincoln: Was 2-for-3 with two runs scored in a 12-2 loss to Hickory.

Aden Tompkins, East Lincoln: Had two hits.

Meridian Leffew, Gaston Christian: Was 2-for-3 with two home runs and four RBIs in a 13-1 win over Gaston Day.

Aaron Main, Gaston Christian: Was 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored.

Jaden Moore, Gaston Christian: Pitched four innings, allowing no runs on one hit with four strikeouts.

Xander Sutton, Gaston Christian: Had two hits.

Greyson Evans, North Lincoln: Was 2-for-3 with a run scored in a 7-6 loss to West Iredell.

Cason McGinnis, North Lincoln: Was 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored.

Softball

Katie Muchesko, Gaston Christian: Pitched a complete game, allowing no runs on two hits with 10 strikeouts in five innings, helping the Eagles to a 10-0 win over SouthLake Christian.

Emerson Rushing, Gaston Christian: Was 2-for-3 with a triple, RBI and a run scored.

Clara Grace Dellinger, North Lincoln: Was 2-for-5 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored in a 15-3 win over West Iredell.

Izzy Ingalls, North Lincoln: Was 2-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored.

Brooklyn Mohr, North Lincoln: Was 3-for-3 with a double, home run and three RBIs. She also pitched seven innings, allowing three runs on nine hits with five strikeouts.

Aniston Moore, North Lincoln: Was 2-for-5 with a run scored.

Izzy Neshek, North Lincoln: Was 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored.

Addison Marr, Stuart Cramer: Was 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBIs and three runs scored in a 17-1 win over Ashbrook.

Addesyn Payseur, Stuart Cramer: Was 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored. She also pitched a four-inning no-hitter with 11 strikeouts.

Hadley Womack, Stuart Cramer: Hit a home run, along with three RBIs and two total runs scored.

Addisyn Robinson, West Lincoln: Had two hits in a 4-3 loss to Bandys in 12 innings.

Abree Sutton, West Lincoln: Had two hits.

Laura Willis, West Lincoln: Was 2-for-5 with a double and two runs scored.

Girls soccer

McKenna Verdi, Lincoln Charter: Scored two goals and had an assist in a 5-2 win over Bradford Prep.

Carly Yates, Lincoln Charter: Had a goal and two assists.

Sydney Frank, North Lincoln: Scored a goal in a 1-0 win over West Iredell.
