Electric vehicles vs. Gas vehicles

During extremely high gas costs, some Americans are looking at how switching to an electric vehicle could save them money.

But is it really cheaper?

Electric vehicles typically cost more upfront than gasoline-powered vehicles, but they save consumers a lot on operating expenses, as well as using 60% less gasoline, according to a 2020 Consumer Reports Study.

Whether or not it is cheaper, EVs are the future, led in large part by California and Washington, which plan to ban future sales of gasoline-powered cars.
