Christa shared the clip of her and The Game sharing a kiss on Monday, captioning it, “When you just broke up BUT…you just broke up.” She also joked “He dipped 🖐” to a follower who asked, “What happened to Matty?” (a reference to Mark Ruffalo’s character in 13 Going on 30).
Naturally, everyone assumed that The Game and Christa were together, but he released the below statement to People clearing things up:
“Christa and I have mutual friends—she attended my Fourth of July party and I hopped on her TikTok. She’s a beautiful woman, but we’re not dating.”
The Game also noted that he is currently dating someone, while Christa hit the comments of her TikTok to clarify things to a fan who wrote, “How dare you post this without any context,” saying she’s “a single woman doing single woman things.”
Christa recently spoke about her love for TikTok to Entertainment Tonight, musing, “I found that when I started using TikTok, it felt like millions of us were in on the same inside joke and that feeling of community really lit a fire in me, and it’s still the way I feel about TikTok. I feel like TikTok is, like, the home for misfit toys or whatever it is. I feel like it’s where all the people who didn’t feel cool enough for Instagram, we all went to TikTok and now we’re just there vibing, and I love it. I love it so much.”
