Ford's oldest child is Benjamin Ford, born in 1966 to Ford's first wife Mary Marquardt. Benjamin grew up to become a successful chef and restaurateur, co-owning the gastropub Ford’s Filling Station in Los Angeles. He also authored the cookbook Taming the Feast. Benjamin has two children of his own, Waylon and Ethan, with estranged wife Emily, who filed for divorce in November 2023, according to People.

Also born to Mary Marquardt, Willard Ford became an entrepreneur. He created the clothing brand Ludwig Clothing Company and founded the Strong Sports Gym in Los Angeles. Willard has two children named Guiliana and Eliel, although he has not publicly revealed the mother(s) of his kids.
