Fun brunch or fancy restaurant? Here’s where to take mom for Mother’s Day in Macon

Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 12, this year, and if you totally forgot, we’re here to help you out.

We’ve got a list of the best places to take mom for a drink, brunch or delicious dinner.

So tell her to get all dressed up and ready for a day all about her.

Here are five spots to celebrate mom in Macon. And bonus: These places don’t need reservations.

Marie’s Lounge

Location: 4581 Forsyth Road, Suite A, Macon

Marie’s Lounge will offer brunch for Mother’s Day. Choose from a pork chop egg plate, shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, and more. Marie’s also will serve bottomless mimosas and mimosa flights.

Marrow 41

Location: 7248 Alexander Court, Macon

Marrow 41 will offer bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys this Mother’s Day.

Carrabba’s Italian Grill

Location: 3913 River Place Drive in Macon

Carrabba’s is offering a special Mother’s Day menu with dishes like tomato Caprese with fresh burrata and the Johnny Trio (7-ounce Tuscan-grilled sirloin Marsala, chicken Bryan and mezzaluna). There’s also a signature cocktail called the Carrabbellini (chilled Absolut Citron vodka, raspberry and blood orange, topped with Riondo Prosecco).

Bonefish Grill

Location: 5080 Riverside Drive, Macon

All Bonefish Grill locations will open one hour early (10 a.m.) to celebrate mom on May 12. On the special Mother’s Day brunch menu, mom can choose from Bang Bang shrimp eggs Benedict, crème brûlée French toast or crab and Fontina cheese frittata.

Toast to mom with a Bloody Mary, espresso martini, mimosa or a sparkling blueberry refresher mocktail.

Parish on Cherry

Location: 580 Cherry St., Macon

Parish will offer its regular brunch, which includes crab cakes Benedict, French toast, and biscuits and gravy. The restaurant also will have live music for mom all day.
