Here’s the full NCAA Tournament bracket, broken down by region
Selection Sunday is finally here, and the bracket is set.
The four regionals this year will be in Kansas City (Midwest), Las Vegas (West), New York (East) and Louisville, Ky. (South). The Final Four this year will be in Houston. Here’s a look at the the NCAA Tournament bracket below, plus scroll down for a printable bracket.

Breaking down the West Region
The Jayhawks have been bumped to the West Regional. That means the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight will go through Las Vegas. KU starts against Howard in Des Moines, Iowa.
Kansas will face either Arkansas or Illinois in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Illinois and Kansas actually met in a preseason scrimmage before the 2022-23 season.
It’s a tough draw, regionally, for the Jayhawks, who will have to deal with St. Mary’s, Gonzaga and UCLA drawing fans in the West Region. UCLA and Gonzaga would meet in the Sweet 16, so the Jayhawks won’t have to face both, but it’s a tough draw for Kansas coming off a Big 12 Tournament loss.

Breaking down the East Region
Kansas State was bumped to Greensboro, North Carolina, so no Des Moines or Denver for the Cats. But it’s an interesting draw with Kentucky as a potential second-round matchup. K-State defeated Kentucky on the way to the Elite Eight in 2018.
A popular upset pick will be ORU, which made a Cinderella Run two years ago, over Duke in a 5-12 matchup. The Golden Eagles, who went 30-4 this year, have former Jayhawk Issac McBride on the roster. Max Abmas (22.2 PPG) is their star player.
Oklahoma State finished as the first team out of the tournament, which was revealed when the East Region was finished on the selection show. The Big 12 was one slot away from getting eight teams in the field from the best league in America.

Breaking down the Midwest Region
KU was bumped out of the Midwest by Houston. “I do not see the case for Houston over Kansas on the overall seed line,” said Seth Davis on the NCAA selection show. “Kansas had 10 more Quad 1 wins.”
Indeed the Jayhawks did, but the committee felt KU’s lopsided losses were worse than Houston’s close ones, according to their explanation.
Iowa State gives the Big 12 another team in the bracket. The Cyclones landed safely in the field as a No. 6 seed. Texas, meanwhile, is the No. 2 seed in the Midwest Regional. So the Longhorns will be back in KC in a couple weeks, should they advance.

Breaking down the South Region
Alabama landed as the No. 1-overall seed in the South Region. At that point, Houston and Kansas were still in play for the Midwest No. 1 seed, but the committee rewarded the only team of the three to actually win its conference tournament.
West Virginia was off the bubble early. Coach Bob Huggins had joked after a loss to Kansas in Allen Fieldhouse he would blast the committee if the Mountaineers didn’t make it in the field. There was little drama for WVU on Selection Sunday, as the Mountaineers were placed in the 8-9 game in the South Region.
Another Big 12 team: Baylor is the No. 3 seed in the South and headed to Denver. That was bad news for K-State, which was hoping to stay somewhat close to home with regionals in Des Moines and Denver.
Missouri landed as a No 7 seed in the South. The Tigers, who fell to Alabama in the SEC Tournament semifinal round, will face Utah State before a potential showdown with No. 2 seed Arizona.
Missouri and Arizona both have top-10 offenses according to KenPom. That matchup should have plenty of fireworks if both teams advance past their first-round matchups.
