North Texas restaurants offer $3.14 pizzas for a limited time. Do the math: It’s for Pi Day

Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired Pizza and Taproom

Celebrate the mathematician in you for Pi Day with a pizza pie.

On March 14, Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired Pizza and Taproom at Stonebriar Mall, 2601 Preston Rd., Frisco, is selling their delectable pies for $3.14 in honor of Pi Day.

“We’re so fresh, we don’t even have freezers in our restaurants,” according to its website. “It’s the little differences that make a wood-fired pizza extra special, and we go the extra mile because all of our Guests are worth it.”

The restaurant also has a self-serve taproom. Guests coming in for the promotion can also enter a chance to win free pizzas for a year.

Also joining the fun are Blaze Pizza locations in Fort Worth (5925 Convair Dr.), Arlington (841 E Lamar Blvd.), Grand Prairies (3148 SH 161) and Mansfield (3141 Broad St.).

The offer is only good March 14 and only for an 11-inch pie. Additional charges may apply for crust and dough upgrades. Here are the conditions for the promotional offer.

Many around the country giddily celebrate the day with their pizza pie — whatever flavor or kind they choose.

Pi Day, celebrated March 14 (3/14) each year, is one of the most well known mathematical constants: the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. For any circle, the distance around the edge is a little more than three times the distance across.
