Appleton East 88, Menomonee Falls 81

WALES - The Patriots used changing defenses, a patient offense down the stretch and converted their free throws to pull away from the Phoenix at the Kettle Moraine Thanksgiving Classic.

Torie Neubauer led Appleton East (3-0) with 23 points. Lindsey Gerard scored 14 of her 18 points in the second half. Ella Sweeney scored 16 points, including 10 in the second half. Jenna Ott and Lilly Meulemans added 14 and 12 points, respectively.

Jade Warren led Menomonee Falls with 29 points. Claire Shear and Sophie Trimble contributed 16 and 10 points, respectively.

Oconomowoc 90, Appleton West 61

OSHKOSH - The Raccoons led by 21 points at halftime in the victory over the Terrors at the Oshkosh West Classic.

The Terrors had four players score in double figures, led by Lucas Downs with 16 points and Parrion Peace with 14. Braylon Ise added 13 and Thomas Schueppert scored 11.

Lukas Hoffman made five 3-pointers and scored 31 points to lead Oconomowoc.

CRIVITZ - The Wolverines led by 10 points at halftime in the victory over the Marines.

Tegan Werner scored 23 points to lead Crivitz, including 16 in the second half. Jackson Flowers added 17 points and Kade Thoma scored 14.

Marinette was led by Jordan Race with 16 points and Sam Sommerfeldt with 14.

CRIVITZ - The Bulldogs outscored the Cougars by 21 points in the first half and cruised to the win.

Logan Kurth led Coleman with 14 points. Victor Kostreva added 11.

BOYS HOCKEY

Bay Port 9, Waunakee 1

MILWAUKEE - The Pirates scored four goals in the first period and went on to defeat the Warriors handily.

Bay Port got five goals from Nick Voss, two from William Lyons and one each from Noah Brunke and Adrian Vlna in the win.

Lyons and Brunke had four assists. Ryan Hilbert had three assists.

Waunakee got its lone goal from Sullivan Scadden late in the second period after Bay Port had built a 7-0 lead.

Devin Rustlie had 21 saves in goal for Bay Port. Taylen Graf had 39 saves for Waunakee.

Madison West 4, De Pere 3

MADISON - The Regents scored three goals in the first period in the victory over the Voyageurs.

Landon Smith and Casey Coppo scored in the second period for De Pere. Smith scored his second goal of the game in the third period to tie the game 3-3, but Henry Gadau scored the game-winner a minute later for the Regents.

Grant Butrymowicz, Gabe Foth, Judeah Kniskern and Noah Kircher had assists for De Pere.

Voyageurs goalie Keegan Handrick made 31 saves.

Oshkosh 9, Green Bay United 1

SHEBOYGAN - The Ice Hawks scored six goals on 22 shots in the first period in their win over the United.

Green Bay’s only goal came in the third period from Jermane Zuehlke with Tyler Dorner getting the assist.

Dayton Briski had a hat trick for Oshkosh with Braden Vossekuil scoring twice. Mason Monhen, Jack Toonen, Isaiah Koeppen and Reid Polak also scored for Oshkosh.

Alex Beck had three assists for Oshkosh while Polak and Leo Ulrich each had two assists.

Goalie Brady Boldt had 31 saves for Green Bay United. Chase Magadanz and Gage Bauer had four and seven saves, respectively, for Oshkosh.

Neenah/Hortonville/Menasha 6, Madison Memorial 2

MADISON - The Rockets scored two goals in each period in their win over the Spartans.

After Madison Memorial took a 1-0 lead, Owen Grotenhuis and Ben Carey scored in the first period for the Rockets. Cole Rothermel and Drew Drach scored in the second period. Mark Sutton and Ryan Johnson put the puck in the back of the net in the third period.

Madison Memorial outshot the Rockets 39-24.

Owen Debbert had 37 saves for NHM. Owen Anderson had 18 saves for Madison Memorial.

Waupaca 6, WNS Storm 3

SHEBOYGAN - The Comets took a 2-1 lead in the first period and never trailed in their win over the Storm.

Alex Gusmer and Dylan Smith scored for Waupaca in the first period with Jace Moen adding a tally in the second period. Ryan Mace scored twice in the third period and Liam Bloedow added a goal in the period.

Adam Mace and Parker Saunders both had two assists for Waupaca.

Gavin Hafferman had 22 saves for Waupaca on 25 shots.

GIRLS HOCKEY

Western Wisconsin Stars 3, Bay Area 2

BALDWIN - Hannah Von Haden and Ava McDonald scored third-period goals for the Ice Bears in the loss to the Stars.

McDonald and Tiana Stindt assisted on Von Haden’s goal.

Western Wisconsin built a 3-0 lead through the first two periods on goals by Emily Berg, Taylor Larson and Izzy Johnson.

Emaliya Schultz had 24 saves for Western Wisconsin. Parker Bartholomaus had 11 saves for Bay Area.
