More than 50 new restaurants opened in Fresno and Clovis in 2022. Here’s what’s new

This past year was a good one for people who like to eat out.

More than 50 new restaurants opened in the Fresno/Clovis area.

They range from fast food and pizza places to high-end sit-down restaurants. Some are little mom-and-pops. Others are international chains.

The chicken trend continued with the opening of several places serving their spin on Nashville hot chicken. Then a boom in burger places happened in the second half of the year.

And plenty of Mexican and Asian restaurants and sandwich shops opened in 2022 also.

In order to keep this list from getting out of control, we stuck to true restaurants where you can get a full meal, excluding dessert and drinks-only businesses.

Here’s a look, in alphabetical order, at who opened this year and what cuisine they serve.
