Fresh off his shoutout to KU Jayhawks, rapper Travis Scott is coming to Kansas City
Rapper Travis Scott, fresh off of his shoutout to the Kansas Jayhawks, will be coming to Kansas City’s T-Mobile Center on Oct. 20.
On his fourth studio album, “Utopia,” released in July, the first track is the hard-driving “Hyaena.” It includes these lyrics:
“…I be all around the map
“Write a show by myself like I’m Chelsea Handler
“Or write a series ‘bout my bitches like I’m Kelsey Grammar
“Nicknamed the jet Jayhawk ‘cause it’s outta Kansas
“You know it’s Spaldin’ in my top, I’m in my esperanza.”
No word on whether he’ll be wearing University of Kansas gear or if any players will join him on stage. Tickets are already on sale, priced at $74-$55.
