Frenship's Rylee Sanders, Roosevelt's Justice Jackson voted A-J athletes of the week

Not a bad day on the track for Rylee Sanders. The Frenship senior set the school record in the 300 hurdles during the Districts 1/2-6A area track meet last week. She finished in 44.80 seconds, good for a second-place finish, and also ran on the regional-qualifying 1,600 relay team. She won a tight vote to be named female athlete of the week, securing 37.44% of the vote.

Justice Jackson, Jr., Roosevelt

Distance running is Justice Jackson's game, and he's pretty good at it. The Roosevelt junior took the gold in the 1,600 and 3,200 runs at last week's Districts 1/2-3A area track meet last week. Jackson received 54% of the vote to earn male athlete of the week honors.
