PARIS (AP) — Catch up on the French Open with a guide that tells you everything you need to know about what happened at the clay-court Grand Slam tennis tournament, what the upcoming schedule is, how to watch, what the betting odds are and more:

Who Is in the Women's Singles Final on Saturday?

No. 1 seed Iga Swiatek will face No. 12 seed Jasmine Paolini in the French Open women’s singles final. Play is scheduled to begin in Court Philippe Chatrier at 3 p.m. local time (1300 GMT, 9 a.m. EDT) on Saturday. Swiatek has won her past 20 matches at Roland Garros and is bidding for her third consecutive title. It would also be her fourth championship in five years at the clay-court major and fifth Grand Slam trophy overall. She is 4-0 in Slam finals so far. Paolini will be participating in a major final for the first time. She had never been past the second round at one of the four most important tennis tournaments until the Australian Open in January. The Italian also reached the women’s doubles final in Paris, which is Sunday; she and Sara Errani will face 2023 U.S. Open singles champion Coco Gauff and Katerina Siniakova. The singles final will be followed in Chatrier by the men's doubles final, which pits Marcelo Arevalo and Mate Pavic against Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori.

Who is in the Men's Singles Final on Sunday?

No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz will play No. 4 Alexander Zverev for the men's championship. The winner will be a first-time champion at Roland Garros. It is the first time since 2004 that the men's final at the French Open will not have at least one of Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic or Roger Federer.

What Happened on Friday?

Alcaraz defeated Jannik Sinner 2-6, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3, making the 21-year-old from Spain the youngest man to reach a Grand Slam title match on three surfaces. He won the U.S. Open in 2022 and Wimbledon in 2023. Zverev was a 2-6, 6-2, 6-4, 6-2 winner against Casper Ruud in a semifinal that began hours after the German reached an out-of-court settlement with his accuser, a former girlfriend, in a domestic violence case in a Berlin court. Zverev is seeking his first Grand Slam trophy; he lost the 2020 U.S. Open final.
