Fortnite V-Bucks Are Getting More Expensive In October

Fortnite skins Cropped

V-Bucks are the premium currency you use to buy skins, items, and the Battle Pass in Fortnite. There are plenty of places to buy them, but they’re about to be getting more expensive in several countries, including the United States. Just a few months ago, V-Bucks saw a price increase in the UK, Canada, and Mexico, and now that change is coming to the rest of the world.

After announcing a new Star Wars crossover in the Fortnite 26.20 patch notes, the team at Epic Games has announced changes to its pricing structure in the following countries:

  • All Eurozone Countries

  • Czech Republic

  • Denmark

  • Hungary

  • Japan

  • Norway

  • Poland

  • Romania

  • Sweden

  • Turkey

  • United States (and all storefronts that use USD)

These changes will come into effect on October 27, 2023, so if you’re planning on stocking up on V-Bucks anytime soon, you should do it before that date. You can see the full list of changes in Epic’s official pricing structure change announcement, but here is how the pricing is changing in the US.

  • 1,000 V-Bucks Bundle is increasing from $7.99 to $8.99

  • 2,800 V-Bucks Bundle is increasing from $19.99 to $22.99

  • 5,000 V-Bucks Bundle is increasing from $31.99 to $36.99

  • 13,500 V-Bucks Bundle is increasing from $79.99 to $89.99

Several packs for in-game skins and items will also have their prices adjusted in the coming months, although it was noted that the Fornite Crew monthly subscription will be remaining at the same price.
