Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 5: Start Time, Fortnite OG Map, New Skins And More

Fortnite will return players to its original map for the final season of Chapter 4.

The new map will begin to roll out on November 3 for Chapter 4, Season 5.

Epic has confirmed the return to the original map, an island that we haven’t trampled across for years, although it will still be keeping more recent changes to movement, as confirmed in a recent Tweet.

Reliable Fortnite leaker Hypex has detailed that once the new Season 5 begins, the map and updates will cycle through original changes introduced in Season 1, including weapons, locations, loot and skins.

Images of Chapter 4 villain Kado Thorne shared by Fortnite’s Instagram page show the vampire time traveller standing in front of a time machine featuring the numbers 2018-07-12. That's a date that corresponds with the launch of Season 5 of the very first chapter of Fortnite, way back in 2018.

Once the Season has cycled through all of its changes, it's then expected the black hole will return and throw players into a brand new Chapter 5, Season 1.

It's difficult to say exactly how long Chapter 4, Season 5 will last, as previous seasons have stretched anywhere between 50 and 128 days.

Although developer Epic Games sacked almost 900 employees last month, it confirmed that the development of Fortnite was still a priority.
