Fort Worth Zoo’s baby elephant predicted last year’s Super Bowl winner. Can he do it again?

Asian elephant calf Brazos from the Fort Worth Zoo picks the Eagles to win Super Bowl LVII Sunday. That would be two Super Bowl wins in five years for the Cowboys NFC East rival.

Sorry Cowboys fans, Brazos can only pick a team playing this Sunday.

The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs are set to play in the biggest football game of the year on Sunday in Arizona. The game kicks off at 5:30 p.m. on FOX.

Zoo staff setup a sign each with the Eagles and Chiefs logo on it. After coming in hot for the Chiefs sign, Brazos made a quick spin-move and punted over the Eagles logo. “Fly Eagles, Fly” indeed.

Every year since 1998, animals from the Fort Worth Zoo have predicted the big game. Brazos’ grandmother — Rasha — made a record setting 10 selections in her day, according to the zoo.

It was a no-brainer to have Brazos make this year’s Super Bowl prediction, after the 1,610-pound elephant correctly tapped the Los Angeles Rams over the Cincinnati Bengals last year. Joining from the sidelines during Brazos’ pick was his mom, Bluebonnet.

Sunday will be here soon enough to see if Brazos has gone 2-0 in Super Bowl picks.
