Fort Worth’s Coyote Drive-In theater is showing $5 Harry Potter movies until November

Fort Worth’s Coyote Drive-In is kicking off the fall season with Harry Potter movies for $5 each week until Nov. 10, and Potterheads are encouraged to come in their best cosplay costumes.

The promotion kicked off Sept. 16 with a screening of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.” Starting Friday through Sept. 29, drive-in goers can watch “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.”

General admission for Coyote Drive-In, located at 223 NE 4th Street, is usually $8, with $4 tickets for children ages 5 to 12 and free admission for children 4 and under.

The Harry Potter screenings will carry on through the Halloween season into the first weeks of November. Movie-goers are encouraged to come out in their best costumes, according to a social media post by the drive-in.

Here are the dates for all the Harry Potter screenings:

  • Chamber of Secrets: Sept. 23-29

  • Prisoner of Azkaban: Sept. 30-Oct. 6

  • Goblet of Fire: Oct. 7-13

  • Order of the Phoenix: Oct. 14-20

  • Half-Blood Prince: Oct. 21-27

  • Deathly Hallows - Part 1: Oct. 28-Nov. 3

  • Deathly Hallows - Part 2: Nov. 4-10

When is Coyote Drive-In open?

Coyote Drive-In is open daily from 6 p.m., rain or shine.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets will be shown until Sept. 29 starting at 7:55 p.m.

How can I buy tickets for Coyote Drive-In?

Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate.

To purchase tickets online, click “Buy Tickets” on the homepage menu and select the feature you would like to watch.

Tickets can be purchased at the gate using cash or card starting at 5:30 p.m. every day.

Can I bring outside food and drinks into Coyote Drive-In?

Outside food and drinks are not permitted in Coyote Drive-In, however there are concessions with food, drink and alcoholic beverage options available inside the drive-in.
