The City of Fort Worth’s offices will be closed on both Thursday and Friday.

Trash services will not pickup on Thursday but resume normal service on Friday. Fort Worth library locations will be closed on both Thursday and Friday.

Most banks will likely reopen on Friday after taking Thursday off for Thanksgiving. Check with your local branch for hours on Friday.

The United States Postal Service, UPS and FedEx will close on Thursday and reopen Friday for mail and package services.

What time do retail stores open on Black Friday?

Black Friday, one of the biggest shopping days of the year, is almost here and retailers are gearing up for another busy season.

While not a traditional holiday, the day after Thanksgiving has been synonymous as Black Friday for the better part of the 20th Century. In fact, the weekend after Thanksgiving has several “retail holidays” such as Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday.
