A former contestant on "The Voice" will be the headliner a Friday night concert at the PGA TOUR Championship at Firestone Country Club in July.

Country music singer Kameron Marlowe will perform July 12 as part of Military Appreciation Concert at the Kaulig Companies Championship.

Admission to the concert, which is expected to start around 5 p.m., is included with the day's golf tournament ticket.

Marlowe competed on Season 15 in 2018 on the NBC show and has since launched a country career with songs including “Giving You Up,” “Girl on Fire” and “Tennessee Don’t Mind.”

He is set to release his sophomore album "Keepin’ the Lights On" at the end of the month.

The opening acts, which will start once the golfers have completed play for the day, include Tim Dugger and Jocko Deal.

Active U.S. military and veterans and first responders, as well as one guest, will be admitted free to the Kaulig Companies Championship as long as they register at kauligchampionship.com.

Kids and teens under the age of 18 also are admitted free.

The concert is part of the tournament's Folds of Honor Friday that will include the awarding of 13 scholarships to local children and spouses of fallen or disabled military and first responders.

The first ceremonial tee shot of the morning on that Friday will be by a military member and the flag on the 13th Hole will feature an American flag.

“We are excited to announce Folds of Honor Friday, which is our way of saying thank you to the men and women who serve our country,” said Kaulig Companies Championship Executive Director Don Padgett. “All fans are encouraged to wear patriotic colors on July 12 to honor military and first responders.”

The concert will take place in the tournament's expanded Kaulig Infinity Zone that will be situated by the water tower at Firestone Country Club.
