Former ESPN President Reacts To Adam Schefter’s Mistakes
Adam Schefter has been under scrutiny numerous times over the last year, but he hasn’t been hurt financially by them.
That all comes courtesy of former ESPN President John Skipper after he made an appearance on Meadowlark Media’s “South Beach Sessions” podcast with Dan Le Batard and Davis Samson.
“I don’t think it cost him anything financially, any of the issues he had,” Skipper said.

This comes directly after Schefter apologized for saying quarterback Dwayne Haskins struggled to play in the NFL when he was announcing his passing.
“I wish I could have that tweet back,” Schefter said. “The focus should have been on Dwayne — who he was as a person, a husband, a friend and so much more. I wanted to apologize to Dwayne’s family, his friends, the players in the NFL and offer my condolences to everyone close to Dwayne.”
Schefter also had a screw-up in March when he tweeted about Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson. It was about how the grand injury decided to not charge him even though there were multiple allegations against him.
This is why Deshaun Watson, from the beginning, welcomed a police investigation: He felt he knew that the truth would come out. And today, a grand jury did not charge him on any of the criminal complaints.

He’s going to need to be more careful in the future to make sure none of these screw-ups happen again.
