Former Arizona Diamondbacks player pays $7M for new Scottsdale home in Arcadia area

Former MLB pitcher Addison Reed, who also played for the Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, Minnesota Twins and New York Mets, bought a new Scottsdale house. The priciest metro Phoenix homes to sell during the second week of October were in Scottsdale.

$9,700,000

A South Dakota LLC called Artemis Holdings paid cash for an 8,318-square-foot mansion in the north Scottsdale community DC Ranch. The home has six bedrooms and six bathrooms but was not listed for sale, so more information was unavailable. The DJC IBC Family Trust sold it.

$7,000,000

Former Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Addison Reed and his wife Cady paid cash for a home on the Scottsdale side of Arcadia. The existing house will be torn down, and information on the new home isn’t available. An LLC named after the address of the property sold it. Robert and Jonah Joffe of Launch Powered By Compass had the listing.

Attorney Sandra Blair paid cash for a 6,125-square-foot house in north Scottsdale’s Desert Mountain community. The home with five bedrooms and 5 ½ bathrooms is located on three acres and comes with walls of glass, retractable glass doors, a breakfast room, a bar on the patio, a glass wine room and a casita. Maikai Aina Holdings, backed by Lineage Homes founders John Deakin and Mike Purtill, sold it.

$4,500,000

James and Lisa White bought a 4,464-square-foot house with three bedrooms and 3 ½ bathrooms in north Scottsdale’s Desert Highlands community. The home comes with walnut cabinetry, natural stone, a smart home system, open office space, floor-to-ceiling windows and a negative-edge heated pool. Lynne and Jerold Levine were the sellers.

$4,200,000

Kyle and Angele Buehner of Bend, Oregon, paid cash for a 5,706-square-foot “organic Pueblo home” in north Scottsdale’s Desert Mountain. The house with four bedrooms and 4 ½ bathrooms also comes with a home theatre, a loft and a golf simulator. Jennifer and John Millett sold it.
