Forgot something for Christmas? These local stores and restaurants will be open

Forgot something for Christmas dinner, or need a last-minute gift? Here are the holiday hours for Bellingham stores and restaurants:

Grocery store holiday hours

▪ Safeway on Sunset Drive will be open from 5 a.m.-7 p.m. on Dec. 24 and open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Dec. 25.

▪ Walmart will be open from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. on Dec. 24 and closed on Christmas Day.

▪ Target will be open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. on Dec. 24 and closed on Christmas Day.

▪ Fred Meyer locations on Lakeway Drive and Bakerview Drive will be open from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. on Dec. 24 and will be closed on Christmas Day.

▪ Whole Foods Market will be open from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. on Dec. 24 and closed on Christmas Day.

▪ WinCo Foods will be open from 5 a.m.-5:30 p.m. on Dec. 24 and closed on Christmas Day.

▪ Trader Joe’s will be open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Dec. 24 and closed on Christmas Day.

▪ Haggen on Woburn Street will be open from 5 a.m.-8 p.m. on Dec. 24 and closed on Christmas Day.

▪ Haggen locations on 12th Street, 36th Street, and Meridian Street will be open from 6 a.m.-8 p.m. on Dec. 24 and closed on Christmas Day.

Pharmacy holiday hours

▪ Rite Aid on 36th Street will be open from 7 a.m.-9 p.m. on Dec. 24 and from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Dec. 25. The pharmacy will be open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Dec. 24 and from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Dec. 25, with a daily lunch break from 1:30-2 p.m.

▪ Walgreens locations on Samish Way, Sunset Drive and Meridian Street will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Dec. 25. The Samish Way location will be open from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. on Dec. 24, the Sunset Drive location will be open from 7 a.m.-11 p.m. on Dec. 24, and the Meridian Street location will be open from 8 a.m.-10 p.m.

Restaurant holiday hours

Some restaurants will be offering special meals on Dec. 24 and Dec. 25 in Bellingham.

▪ Lighthouse Bar and Grill inside Hotel Bellwether will be open from 4-9 p.m. on Dec. 24, and from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. on Dec. 25.

▪ B-Town Kitchen and Raw Bar at the Four Points by Sheraton Bellingham Hotel & Conference Center will be open from 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m. on Dec. 24 and from noon to 5 p.m. on Dec. 25.

▪ Gruff Brewing will be open from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. on Dec. 24 and closed on Christmas Day.

▪ Twin Sister’s Brewing Company will be closed Dec. 24-28 and will reopen for regular hours on Dec. 29.

▪ Boundary Bay Brewery will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Dec. 24 and closed on Christmas Day.

▪ Anthony’s Hearthfire Grill will be open from noon to 9 p.m. on Dec. 24 and closed on Christmas Day.

▪ Anthony’s at Squalicum Harbor will be open from 11:30 a.m.-8 p.m. on Dec. 24 and closed on Christmas Day.

▪ The 1-Up Lounge and Cardhaven game store will both be open Dec. 24 and Dec. 25. The lounge will be open from 4 p.m. to midnight, and Cardhaven will be open from noon to 4 p.m. on Dec. 24 and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 25.
